If she is getting enough sun, water, food, and sleep, she is in the best health. Sun and water are enough to sustain her for quite a while, so she can remain healthy even without eating for up to about 1 week before she suffers any adverse energy or health effects. (However, she can counteract it with more sunlight/water than usual.) For this reason, Vartouhi deems it unnecessary for her to learn to drive a car. She uses public transportation primarily because walking to the bus, to the subway, or just all the way to her destination, gives her a chance to soak up the sun she needs. When she is inside, she sits as close to windows as she possibly can, always in the sun. In the morning, she has about a quart of water. All day, she carries a water bottle with her in her purse; she usually has to refill it twice over the course of the day. At night, she soaks in the tub, or takes a long shower--45 minutes just to stand under the water, and another 15 minutes to actually get clean.
No sun or water, or inadequate amounts of it, are harmful, no matter how much food she eats or sleep she gets. Her skin dries out, her lips are chapped, her hair and lip colors dull, and she appears just a tinge thinner. Her limbs feel heavy, she gets dizzy often (similar to anemia), is prone to spacing out, and more irritable. On Balah, they have what are basically UV lights to counteract the rainy season’s cloudy, dim weather, so she never suffered this way. On Earth, it happens more often than she would like, and she has yet to discover UV lights on Earth.
However, too much water can be a problem. Rain is usually the culprit of engorgement sickness, in which her hydrotubules are filled to excess from the water her skin absorbs, and they put strain on her muscles as a result. Her body temperature spikes to use up that water faster, resulting in a very unpleasant fever, and involuntary crying. In severe cases, it can lead to vomiting and diarrhea. She has only had it that bad since being on Earth; as you can imagine, royal medical staff used to take quite good care of her, and the occasions back then were rare, given that she was usually kept from situations where she could get caught out in rain.
Other than that, her immune system is superior to a human’s, so it is unlikely a human illness like a cold will have a substantial effect on her, if any at all. On the chance that it did happen, she would recover much quicker than a human. Parasites would be a bigger worry, for her, as those will affect her more.
