To Naho Takamiya-sama:
My second year high school self. How are you? I´m writing this letter ten years in your future. Why am I writing to you when you´re in high school? Because I need you to do me a huge favor. In this letter, I’ll chronicle the events that are about to happen and the choice I want you to make, so you don´t repeat my mistakes.
April 6th: I forget to set my alarm clock, oversleep for the first time in my life. A new student from Tokyo comes to Class 6. His name is Kakeru Naruse. He sits next to me. Kakeru turns down the invitation to walk home together. This is the one day I don’t want you to invite Kakeru. Seriously.
April 20th: The ball game tournament. They ask me to be a pinch hitter for the softball game. I refuse and regret it later. Please, I want you to accept the pinch hitter request. I fall in love with Kakeru that day.
To the me of the past, 10 years ago. You´ve got a lot of happiness and joy ahead of you. I hope you can sense that happiness. I hope you don´t let it slip away from you.
Now, ten years in your future, Kakeru is no longer with us. Don´t lose what´s important to you. Please keep a close eye on Kakeru.
We are back from Colorado after a two week shoot, covering 13 industries for Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade. It was a hectic, jam-packed whirlwind shoot that ultimately resulted in some great footage. Above is a frame grab the agriculture industry, featuring the company Ardent Mills. Thanks to the many, many people who made this production possible, and thanks especially Ian and Meisha at RGD.
