We went to an Adobe Creative Jam in Atlanta to document designers using Adobes new UX software, XD. Concentrating on six teams, we hoped at least one compelling story would come from the contest. At the end we had three strong stories for Adobe. This one features the winners of the contest who were nice and patient as we shot over their shoulders for three hours. We appreciate it, thanks!
We produced 13 summer backpack videos for Gregory which showed off each packs unique features to potential buyers. You can find all the videos on Amazon, REI.com, or the Gregory website. We also designed and built the wooden background for this shoot.

In June we shot 13 industries in Colorado for the Office of Economic Development and International Trade. The footage is currently on the www.choosecolorado.com website as atmospheric headers. Last month we were in Atlanta to shoot people’s reaction to Adobe’s new software, XD. This video is one of many stories we captured, more stories from the shoot on the horizon soon!
We are back from Colorado after a two week shoot, covering 13 industries for Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade. It was a hectic, jam-packed whirlwind shoot that ultimately resulted in some great footage. Above is a frame grab the agriculture industry, featuring the company Ardent Mills. Thanks to the many, many people who made this production possible, and thanks especially Ian and Meisha at RGD.
We produced another Adobe Think Tank in San Fransisco, this time with the theme of “Work”. Look for a bunch of short videos from the interview sessions and the 1 1/2 hour live broadcast online soon. Lots of great ideas and thoughts from executives in the tech industry.
Last week was a work trip in Vegas to document the Adobe Summit in virtual reality. Here’s a bonus VR shot from the Theta S camera, manipulated with the Rollworld app to make it non-VR and fit in an Instagram post. This little camera by Ricoh is a great way for companies to experiment with VR content on their website without spending a lot of money. Thanks again to Adobe, welikesmall and 7D8 for the good times!
Our sister company Stream13 produced another live event for Adobe in San Fransisco two weeks ago, this time covering “The Future of Experience Design”. Some of the panel members were from Google, Pinterest, Amazon, and of course Adobe. Short highlight videos from the hour-long event will be online soon.

Here’s a sizzle reel we made to help promote future Adobe Think Tanks. Footage is mostly from a live web broadcast for Adobe and their agency 7d8.co last November. A baked in LUT and 4K cameras with Cooke lenses gave us this filmic look, which is rarely, if ever, seen in webcasts. We are doing another Adobe live event this month, details coming soon!
We went back to Seattle again, this time to shoot for Paula’s Choice. Here’s a frame grab graded with FilmConvert and also some very slight skin smoothing done with Digital Anarchy’s Beauty Box filter.

For the third year we produced all the concert and interview videos for Billboard Winterfest during the Sundance Film Festival. Travis Scott and Wiz Khalifa were the headliners, performing in a much smaller venue than they are used to. It made for unique performances and great visuals. We were happy to help our friends at welikesmall shoot 16 web videos for Tums in a quick four day shoot. And local motion graphic company Nocturnal did all the motion graphics. Geared for the Super Bowl crowd, it involved some crazy recipes Like Sloppy-Joe cinnamon buns. And bacon wrapped burritos. Eesssh, pass the Tums, please.
welikesmall is currently producing all content for Starbucks Pike Blog, and they asked us to help shoot the roasting + bagging process last month for the 2015 Christmas Reserve blend. If you’ve never been to the Reserve Roastery in Seattle, it’s worth a trip. Freshly roasted beans fly over your head Willy-Wonka style while you sample Starbucks most rare and best coffee. The pizza there is pretty good, too.
We recently shot a couple product videos for Paula’s Choice through a new local ad agency: Artists, Vagrants, & Thieves. The videos will be online in the coming weeks, and we are happy to be doing more videos for Paula’s Choice in the near future!
