✂ ; After Teeth Removal
Humiliated and embarrassed is what he felt, but he hid it behind a mask. Such wretched emotions weren't allowed to be shown by a person like him. He was meant to be confident and to keep his head held high; And that's what he did. Despite the surgical mask that covered his mouth he continued to act all high and mighty.
He no longer was able to act in the plays due to his lack of speech, yet despite the fact he could no longer get a noise to rise from his vocal chords, he was still able to use sign language. Very few of his actor peers spoke to him now, no longer seeing him as the magnificent thespian he once was. Not that he ever cared about any of them anyhow. The only thing they were useful for was being his background, his side actors.
They weren't as important as he was. They didn't have the absolutely stunning skills of acting he had nor the charming visage. They were all useless. Merely only pawns in a game of chess. He controlled them like a puppeteer with his marionettes, made them look as if they actually had talent.
But, no, all of them were without the precious gift of being able to deceive the crowd like he could. He truly pitied them back then. He still pitied them now, but now he was the one who was pitied. Despite all the times he told them to stop they just continued trying to be sincere and apologizing to him as if saying sorry would help his predicament. They didn't even know why or how this had happened.
Not that he would ever admit the ugly truth. He would just use his hands to tell them 'it was an accident'. There were many times when he couldn't believe himself, felt digested with himself for keeping what happened a secret. He should have reported it to the police. But his obsession for the female who did this was too strong.
Over and over he told himself obsession was just a gun being pointed at this head. He told himself he never wanted this. But he was only deceiving himself. What he felt for Miho, despite her cold heart, was real infatuation. An infatuation that would only keep growing and growing.
Every night he looked at the photos he had collected of her. They drove him mad; he wanted to see her, he wanted to speak to her. But he couldn't. Not now, now wasn't the right time. All he knew was the right time would come soon.
And when that right time came around. The obsession cycle would simply start rotating all over again.
