"Paper Butterfly Trilogy" is a three-part kinetic-novel mini-series for 2025 Neo-Twiny Jam.
April's first love is one timid boy named August, but when she asks of his whereabouts one summer, only she remembers he ever existed at all. Rekindling her friendship with June, April finds herself living between two realities.
As I wrote for my New Year’s resolution, I want to release at least two minor VN projects and while I’m at it give Tyrano Builder a try. At the moment I’m still at the process of writing the scripts but I think both of them will be either all Kinetic Novel or at least one Kinetic Novel and one short Visual Novel.
For the game genre, one will probably be a bit dark while the other one something lighter ( if I manage to ). My goal is to make a minimum amount of sprite but with a decent number of CGs using pre-made background images.
It’s an ambitious work but I want to give it my all! Specially if I’m not going anywhere this summer.
I wanted to post something yesterday but kind of forgot what I wanted to write. When I remembered what it was I was already in bed ready to sleep. Thankfully, I remembered it again today.
I’ve been so busy since mid January that I hardly can find time to play those new English visual novels out there. I kept in mind what someone on twitter said about finding a month to dedicate playing visual novel, and now here I am writing all about it.
Why March? I have no idea myself. I thought maybe it would do me good to stop my game development for one month and play around a bit. I’m just too busy academically speaking. I had the outrageous idea to actually enroll myself in two different after school activities thinking I can keep my studying under control.
I don’t regret taking those extracurricular activities since they’re interesting and a great investment for my future, I only hate the thought of not having free time. It’d be nice if once in a while someone tells me to stop overflowing myself with work. Really nice.
