Weird life update

I know im supposed to be working on tip jar. I swore. I promised. Im trying.

But i just found out though the grapevine (thank gods for little sisters am i right?) That my parents are getting a divorce.

Its a weird situation. Im dealing with the fact they're getting a divorce but also the fact that im not supposed to know about it. My sister is taking it really hard and its messing her up and im trying to support her from states and states away.

Its a mess.

So im in a weird spot right now and idk when the next tip jar update is gonna happen and im really sorry guys.

Like granted the power scaling in the books is all over the place but basically HLs are supposed to be at the top of the verse, with maybe only the KoH, Amren, a few monsters and the Made Fae relative/above

Amarantha had to been not only freakishly powerful to pull her takeover off without the Cauldron, but also a certified genius level magic user?? No one else uses spells the way we see her do?? Like she just says stuff and it becomes reality????

I could brush it off as soft magic in book1 but later on sjm fucks with the world building to the point that even unnaturally powerful Fae can die of hunger, childbirth, probably infection - everything is much more grounded and limited

So Amarantha, in retrospect, who has God level magic... And was a general in her own right, was taken out by a physical attack????? Did sjm really think about that? Of course not
