summer mood: attend a party completely populated entirely by queer people, mostly women. each person has at least one incredible tattoo. you are in upstate new york and the mountains are blue and the roads are blue and trains cry out in the distance as they cross the hudson, but you can’t see any of those things now. it’s night, and the world ends outside the circle of light pooling out of a remote farmhouse. shoot off fireworks while summertime sadness plays in the background. watch as the fireworks stun the fireflies, who then glitter in the trees like something more electric. but everything here is natural. be gay. be yourself. do what you want.
