Hi friends! Two things: 1) Holy cow you guys are great. I'm almost at 500 followers! I am so thankful that you all liked my writing enough to follow. That being said, 2) If you want to reblog my work, please do! But I ask that you not tag my poems as your work. I put my heart and soul into my writing and I would appreciate it if you give me proper credit. I have seen multiple people claim my words as their own and while I have not said anything to them directly, if it becomes an issue I will have to be a little bit more aggressive. I’ve grown to like the taste of thunder The feeling of lightning in my bones, It’s just more proof deep inside me That I’m alive. I’ve grown to like the rain washing over me There’s fire enough in my veins to keep me warm And I can feel everything there is to feel But at least I know I’m breathing. And these streets, they seem so unfamiliar And these faces, they don’t recognize me anymore I’m the girl who embraced the storm And lost herself. Who is really afraid of the darkness anyways? You guys always get to deal with all of my emotions when something big happens in my life, so thank you for sticking with me through all of it. I love you guys!
