the fact that he’d protected her , putting his own life & safety on the line without a moment’s hesitation made her waver; she hated it. sweet pea refused to allow herself to trust blindly , the opportunity of keeping someone by her side .... it’d passed a long time ago. even with the firm grip around her wrist , the android pushed back without mercy. she couldn’t voice why she wasn’t deserving of it all , only keep it in until it broke her apart & for the very same reason made him abandon her.
she couldn’t remain by his side , no matter how much she’d yearn for it. when it came down to it all , it was only supposed to be fun & games; he wasn’t supposed to get this involved.
