|| 鈴 || :: “ why ... do you still recognize me ? ” the SEIRYUU didn’t understand. after all these years, after how much she had changed, why was it that the other still recognized her as that naïve young dragon she trained back then ? was she angry ? disappointed ? perhaps both ? she didn’t know.

|| 雪 || :: “ you smell weird. ” certainly not a good choice of words for a greeting especially to be said to a COMPLETE STRANGER, however, the ninetailed fox didn’t think anyone sane would come to this abandoned shrine anyway, so why not welcome them instead of going for their neck ? that, and due to the fact that she didn’t feel any ill-intention coming from him, perhaps, this guy was just getting LOST enough to stumble over this place.

                hopping off a large, half-broken fox statue that sat right next to another similar one, she circled the other, head tilting curiously and taking in his ATTIRE along with a whiff of his scent. she certainly wasn’t holding back on her inspection of him, was she ?

                “ i don’t think you’re here to pray to this shrine, given its state. so — are you lost ? ”

|| 茜 || :: still air of the forest was what the atmosphere was prior to her ARRIVAL. in the darkness, up in the air that should have nothing but clear night sky suddenly had a DISTORTION in space itself. the portal tore through the peaceful night, and a figure was involuntarily tossed onto the GRASSY GROUND below, form skidding across the soft grass until her back clashed into one of the trees there, causing a choked gasp to rip from her lungs.

                the SUZAKU found herself in an unfamiliar territory. so she was tossed into a dimensional portal while chasing down a HIGH RANKED DEMON, and now, she had little to no idea where she was, only dark forest surrounding her.

                sound of footsteps and leaves rustling put her on high alert. the VERMILION BIRD, staggered up to her feet, wounded body barely able to keep herself standing while crimson wings spread behind her and flame colored hues stared forward at the approaching silhouette. she was in no condition to FIGHT after that battle, that was for sure.

                “ who’s there ... !? ”

▸▸ [ @deusbane​ || ital & rin || beware ! it’s raining dragons today ! ]

|| 鈴 || :: traveling through dimensional rifts had always been unpredictable when it comes to how and where you would find yourself upon exit. not a single travel would be the same, so when the DRAGONESS could see the light at the end of the portal itself, she was bracing herself for the worst.

                and this was, certainly, one of THE WORST RIFT OPENING she had in a while.

                quite a few feet upwards into the sky was where the SEIRYUU found herself being pushed out, and gravity doing its rightful duty in pulling her downwards without much of a chance for her to utilize her POWER or spreading her wings. a figure of SOMEONE down below was what had her heart drop.

                “ LOOK OUT — !! ” was all she managed to get out as she was free-falling down to the ground. hand pushing vertically and a gust of wind appeared just at the last second to cushion that fall but only BARELY, especially when she was literally falling onto this stranger. AIR was knocked out of her lungs, followed by the hay going everywhere as her form lay on top of this unlucky (?) person.

                groaning, she shook her head free of the hay, some of it simply floating in the air as a hand rubbed the back of her neck, head lowered apologetically towards the other.

                “ ... uh ... sorry. are you okay ? ”

|| 茜 || :: “ you don’t seem surprised for someone who’s just seen a person coming out of dimensional portal. ” normally, while the PROTECTOR wouldn’t disclose the information regarding her existence as a VERMILION BIRD nor the fact that she came from another world entirely, having this person witness her making a landing from the DIMENSIONAL RIFT with her crimson wings all revealed made it difficult to come up with a lie convincing enough. given that he didn’t exude any ILL-INTENTION nor malice, there was no reason for her to point her weapon at him.

                she couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but something about him was certainly tugging at her. was it a sense of POWER ? such a peculiar aura, not in a bad way, however.

                “ you must’ve seen many things, then. what is this place, if i may ask ? ”

|| 鈴 || :: “ is there any magic that could make me taller ? ” the YOUNG DRAGON tugged at the other’s cape, another hand trying to measure the top of her head in comparison to the AVENGER before letting out a sigh. “ height ... contributes to how people see you, right ? is that way most people, dragons or not, see me as a child ? ” the seiryuu knew that she was young in terms of DRAGON YEARS or experience, however, even humans didn’t seem to fear or feel intimidated by her presence unlike the dragon witch who invoke FEAR with every step she took.

                “ if i’m taller, then people would at least see me differently, right ? it’d take too long for me to mature as a dragon ... so i wonder if there’s any magic that could enhance my height and growth ... at least in mortal form. ”

|| 聖風 || :: “ project valkyrja. ” the sound would’ve felt utterly foreign to the ears of normal humans, however, it was something that WARRIOR GODDESS held a sense of nostalgia over. how long had it been since she had heard that name ? how it brought back the YEARS she was being deceived by humans and forced to fight for them, to be their weapon in order to bring them VICTORY in never-ending wars. how could it have ended when mankind still thirsted for POWER ?

                gaze of azure drifted towards the LADY BEAST, a woman who bears fangs like mythical creature and kind of strength resembling one. the valkyrie knew she was a woman of knowledge, of RESOURCES, but it still came as a surprise that she was able to find any information related to the origin of her summoning when she had burned that place to the ground with her own hands.

                “ i didn’t think something like that would grab your interest, miss zarina. ”
