Not the worlds best, but hey, I did these really fast
Redesigned Tian clothes for Lillian
I stole the vest from ancient china, and otherwise they wear several layers, and a wool coif, and wooden shoes. Also lillian probably has a completely different style of crutches, but i was lazy
Sometimes you have to make an oc meme to be sane
Ofar worldbuilding part 2
the word for mafia and thieves in later Ofar is derived from flowers and plant words. Thats because Asha and Lillians whole theives guild thingy is the first to be, and so prominent they infact rewrite language
Ofar worldbuilding fact bc I can't normal: In Tare city the way information is circulated is through "newstands"(they don't have a name yet lol). These newstands are small stands, that often sell small food and have some tables out front. But their main function is to earn money by answering questions people have about stuff. There is generally a fee per question, and they can be about whatever.
So on one day the newstand workers might be asked how to spell a really odd word, whether they think the crops will be good next season, what the news on the newest theives etc. Some newstands will have small libraries to make it easier to compile information
Ofar warmup drabble
Asha stood, and stared at herself in Lillian's mirror. She stared at her hair and her eyes. She wondered about whether if the sun hit the mirror right, she would go blind. She wondered if Lillian would still care about her if she was.
Her hair was pale and yellowed, and stared at the black ash she had on the floor. It wasn't that Asha hated her hair, but she was (bored, tired, sick, angry) with it. She thought the hair would show the blood she spilled, if she just looked closer. The blood that she would spill.
It had actually been Lillian who had suggested the charcoal in her hair, when she had been sent out. Asha had become Lena, the young maid who was meant to be in the laundry room, and was doing nothing untoward when she dropped a simple powder down all of table member Aleda's clothing. Lena's hair was black, because Lillian had worried that Asha would be recognized if she still had her blond hair. Asha hadn't put that much thought into her disguise, and honestly thought that Lillian had been over nervous. So she went through her normal routine the entire day, including putting the ash paint around her eyes, all well Lillian paced around and looked at the plan, until she saw Asha putting it on. Then Lillian had yelled "That's it!" and stole the paint out of Ashas hands, and waved it around. "This can dye your hair! Asha pass me your hair." Then, Lillian had dropped the charcoal into Ashas hair. When she looked in the mirror, Asha was now Lena.
The thing was, Asha hated being Lena. But when she had washed out the blackness, she hated the hair as well. Asha wanted to put the charcoal back in her hair but Lillian worried that it would make her too distinct on her night time duties. Asha didn’t care, but agreed to not put the black in, but now Lillian was asleep, and Asha was standing in front of the mirror with a bowl of ash at her feet.
—
When Lillian woke up Asha was gone, the bowl was half empty, and the residents of Tian talked of the demon with two toned hair.
