there was still a lot of time left before opening night, but we all know seulbi is not the type to procrastinate. after landing a the lead role in the spring musicale ( as expected of the talented young girl ), she took extra time out of her day to practice her vocals in the music room. while it’s important to prioritize and not spend ALL of her energy on theater stuff, she found herself doing that anyway. it’s easy to get lost in her work when she’s practicing, so seulbi didn’t even notice the door opening and someone else in the room until she was finished singing. ❛ what the---- how l o n g have you been standing there ?? ❜

She has woken up early and so also did her daughter, the little girl is happily jumping and running around the house due to the happiness she feels --- because it is a special day and she can’t wait to see her favorite oppa again. Daeun has lost counts of how many times Dabin has asked her when she’d be able to see Kiki again, and she couldn’t he more excited at the moment.
And Daeun loves seeing her baby like that, she loves how full of light she is whenever she’s about to meet her godfather, he has such a great effect on the little girl that it becomes contagious and makes the mother feel happy and full of joy as well. What could she do, her daughter’s smile always wins her over and she can’t help but do anything the girl asks her to --- but it’s not like she’d ever deny the visit of Kinam or refuse his invitations.
She would admit that she’s lucky, for having someone so attentive and loving like the male to take care of Dabin like she was his own daughter, for looking after the little girl and making sure the two of them are safe and healthy. He was the perfect person for that and she was happy her husband had such a great friend like him.
“Are you ready, Binbin? Oppa might be here soon,” the woman asks her daughter while preparing the baby’s bag, filling it with extra clothes in case she gets the one’s she’s wearing dirty, some medicine in case she gets hurt or sick, cookies in case she gets hungry, a water bottle in case she gets thirsty, everything she could need if anything happened.

Here is a concept which he nevers becomes sick of ; jest. Full of liveliness and the possibilities of humor are just endless -- he’s relishing all type of jokes, even if they are labelled as wrong (in the sense of black humor) or nasty (when they are slightly not safe to speak of around children, well... he must admit, anything with such topic has got to be his favorite), and when they are silly, witless, aimless. Long story short ----- he likes joking. If there is a phrase or longer which can cause someone to titter even the slightest then it is welcomed and accepted delightfully into his world -- he, around his friends, behaves at time as if he is completely and entirely dense, anserine. It is not difficult (to say the least) to identify that doltish conduct which almost makes him appear mindless, foolish, and if perhaps that may be a first encounter and impression of the young lad then dupe and ignorant, which he sometimes may genuinely be. He’s laughing as expected despite the lack of depth or deeper meaning in the joke-- jocular demeanor is often found between these two young souls and it seems as if nothing other than behaving tomfoolery makes them keen ; boys are boys, in the end ------ they are filled with nothing but vainess and materialism, visual creatures in love with their hand most of the time, joking regarding anything silly or ‘dirty’ or what ever ... they are wild and loud and carefree, regardles of their kind hearts which might feasibly be their most enchanting points. Such attributes can definitely be vexating most of the time albeit also quite charming, in several occasions. And right now when the two of them wear grins bigger than their lips can bear and as spirited youngish chortles emit their lips they are two lively youngings having a good time, joking and mocking and laughing with one another about what ever in the world comes to their premature minds. Two boys enjoying themselves --- as simple as that.

Daeun can’t help the smile that spreads on her lips after listening to what the male says, it’s a warm, honest and content smile, the gratitude was obviously exposed in her eyes and she didn’t do anything to disguise it --- not when it came to Kinam, someone she could truly and wholeheartedly trust no matter what.
After all, he was her husband’s best friend, the one he trusted to be their daughter’s godfather, the only father-like figure the young little girl would ever have. And the mother appreciates his love and will to take care of her baby, when she herself can’t do it.
“You don’t have to be perfect, Kinam. You’re great the way you are, and Yejun couldn’t have choosen someone better to be in the role you are right now.” She says and her voice is sweet and gentle, her head is slightly tilted and the smile never leaves her features when she reaches over to gently touch his cheek, as a sign of complete trust and care. “I appreciate your care towards Dabin and I, and I’m sure Yejun is happy and proud wherever he is.”
“You can count on me whenever you need someone to comfort you or to cheer you up, Dabin is the best for the latter.” And she chuckles, her eyes almost disappear into small crescents. “I’ll try my hardest to always see you healthy and happy, and I’ll sue whoever hurts you. Nobody messes with my daughter’s favorite oppa!”

bony legs fall from the couch, rest back to back, nibbling on some sweets of all types ─── crunchy, wobbly & beyond description. drowsy sighs are to fill the exhausted oxygen in the room. however there’s no one to voluntarily let new in by opening one of the dusty windows. still these are some of the many things to be noticed easily but one only cares for the negative traits somehow ... screw whatever makes you feel comfortable & giddy inside, there’s no time to care for that.
❝ would you be so kind & shut it already ? ❞ eojin barks, followed by a courageous bump to his friend’s spine with a pointy elbow. it’s not his fault chiwon has agreed to watch the show together. but it’s his favourite & he would never let anyone ruin it by unnecessary babbling. strangely, the boy’s brave & continues not even after 2 minutes of relishing silence. nothing seems to occupy him, if it is it’s likely not worth keeping to his thoughts alone. luckily, for the right solution to his own DILEMMA, eojin doesn’t have to BRAINSTORM. quickly grabs chiwon’s worn-out collar & presses him down to his mouth. tongue sliding over rough lips to bait t h e m o p e n, exploring what is responsible for his slowly growing headache. when he hears the title music play, eojin bites the other’s sinful tasty rosy pillows for a last time & leaves them with a plop. nothing. vacuously eojin returns his gaze to the television, finally there are no more words uttered.
