Alec had been searching for a missing person, when he got kicked into the Hudson. Only the angel knew how long he was in the water, struggling for breath. When he managed to crawl on land, he had no idea where he was. He made his way into the land, trying to find somewhere where he could rest safely and figure out where he was and how to get home. 

That’s when he saw her. Something seemed different, not necessarily dangerous about her, but different. “Who are you?”
