He went to put in the key but the door clicked open and he walked into an odd tardis, up stairs and onto a glass floor. He looked up to see a young floppy haired man inna bow tie to which he raised an eyebrow. "Let me guess..."

Familiar Faces and Enemies /Closed/ ofbowtiesandeyebrows

The planet of Dauvile used to be a wonderful place. Markets, new faces would come each and every day to see what was selling. But now that was a thing of the past. No one dared to be outside these days for fear of the blonde with the 'cyber mites'. Those that couldn't be 'converted' were tossed away after their dead remains were found some random place or another.

It got so bad that no one was stupid enough to revolt against the one who called herself "Clever". But there was one soul who was working on a computer on some base. He kept on sending out every so often, We need help. Anyone please. But he made sure not to make it so often as to attract her attention.

But that wasn't to last. "You are able to crack through my defenses and send an SOS that no one will receive. You are quite brilliant. I'm going to use you for my own devices." Clever says with a laugh having tracked down the computer signal tracing his face. "You'll be fun to break into my services. Consider yourself blessed. I won't even convert you. As long as you don't do anything to upset me that is." She promised. And if it was one thing that those on this planet learned the hard way, she meant her promises. She had said that one day they would be under her control.

It was a simple mission, really. All she had to do was jump to the place, locate the time disturbance, and get rid of it. It did make her wonder, though, why she was chosen for it. Generally, she was only asked to do off the book missions, or complex, dangerous on the book ones. The fact that she was here on a supposedly 'easy' mission was putting her on edge.

Still, she managed to mask her emotions as she walked straight into the institute, with a pre-made fake ID stating that she's "Inspector Oswin of the Temporal Department". They don't suspect a thing.

She starts off fine, using her manipulator to subtly scan for any disturbances. It's only when she notices a man wearing anachronistic clothing that she pauses. Perhaps she was right. Perhaps it is an off the book mission-- perhaps he's the disturbance.

With a slight sigh she turns and starts towards him, "Sir?" she asks plainly, "What is your name and rank?"

Nightmare

my muse has been having a reoccurring nightmare every night. after months of experiencing this, they have started acting differently and are slowly going insane. send “nightmare” for my muse finally snapping and going completely insane.

It had been months. Months of disturbed sleep. Months of waking up screaming. Months of being plagued by the most terrible nightmares that left her frightened and confused.

For months she'd tried her best to keep it hidden. She'd refused to have even the odd night on the TARDIS, and was sure to have a smile at the ready whenever people tried to talk to her. No one ever suspected a thing.

But now... now it had been too much. She couldn't do it anymore. Now, even in the day time, she could see it. Ever since the nightmares followed her into wakefulness she had refused to leave her bedroom, staying curled into a ball by the foot of her bed, clutching her head and muttering unintelligible words under her breath.

She didn't even notice when the door creaked open, and he was there.
