Nathan should have stayed home, recovered from all the chaos that ensued from the event, but here he was at the library anyway. He knew for a fact that someone -- or anyone would have something to say. He just needed a name, one name and he’d warn Juliet as well as Val on who to look out for.
But the hunt for names turned into a whole new directive when he realized a face had been missing. It wasn’t just a one time thing, not when Alon spent his time at the library. That is how they had gotten to know each other, their odd interest in books actually. Days had gone by and that is why Nathan decided to check in on him.
So he stood outside of his place, food in one hand as he used his free hand to knock on the door. The man had grown on Nathan, and he wasn’t sure if it was because of his interest in books, or the mere fact that he was someone who was attractive as well as nice company. When the door did open, he greeted the man with a smile while raising the bag of food. “I hear Bacolod’s has the best Inasal.” he added. It was a lot better than just stating he was checking up on him, which wasn’t a lie. After all that happened, he wanted to make sure the man was okay. -- @ofcandyism
