A Silent Night

The wind blew softly through the forest this night, calm but persistent. Leaves rustled across the ground in droves, starting in one direction, spinning in a small cyclone, then proceeding along in a different one.There was no one else around for what seemed like miles, not even the lights of any village reached this far into the wilderness.

The light of the stars was completely visible, and the moon was full. It was like the universe was on display for whoever took the time to admire it. Luka was one such person, sitting atop a boulder and watching the sky calmly. Her normal rambunctious behavior exchanged for the eerie calm of the night.

“Oh Gizmo! It’s you.. I umm..” Natsuki tried to think of something to say as she wrinkled her skirt in her hands. “They hadn't talked to much after the kiss, perhaps things had gotten a little awkward. “I suppose you’re mad at me, aren’t you?” The pinkette accused, not even sparing the taller girl a glance.

How are you feeling cutie?” The blonde tried to keep her voice soft in hopes to not startle the other, he had been asleep for about a month and probably didn’t know where he was, which was Gizmo’s home/warehouse…whatever you wanted to call it.

“Zzz.” Sorry, her voice was too soft, it seems... she’s putting him back to sleep. Maybe the boy hadn’t subconsciously felt any danger from the voice, so he just slipped back away... whoops.
