" trick....or....trea-ting? "
Sparrow gasps openly, mouth agape before he closes it in remembrance of who he shares company with. His very fluffy feathers stay raised as he opens his wings in eagerness.
“Have you never been trick-or-treating? Typically, it’s for children to dress in various costumes and they go door to door. Each time the resident opens their door, the children cry ‘trick or treat!’ and receive a treat of some sort, like candies or sometimes small toys or even money.” Sparrow is grinning now, glad to share what he knows about Halloween with the King.
“While it is mostly for children, adults have fun too by going as a chaperone or trick-or-treating at their friends’ homes. Some even have parties and have someone on duty to hand out treats to visitors!”
