Thinking about safehands in Vorinism, and how some women are uncomfortable with a glove while others are fine with it. So basically, a sweater-paw that obscures even the shape of the hand is the Vorin equivalent of a loose sweater, hiding the figure completely. A glove is the equivalent of a tight-fitting top; you can see all the shapes but not the body part itself. In our culture, the thing that is most scandalous to see is the nipple, though it looks absolutely the same as a male nipple. So bringing this to its logical conclusion, the scandalous part of a female safehand, which nobody is ever allowed to see even though it looks absolutely the same on the other hand, Is fingernails.
