arthur likes winter which is ironic because he hates the one thing that makes many people love it: christmas.

but he finds a sense of comfort in the falling snow, some happiness in the lights at the windows and in the streets; he likes layering up his clothes, having an excuse to bundle up in a blanket after work and finally use his fireplace. he enjoys the feeling of excitement even if he himself isn’t particularly excited. he also likes the ice rinks opening as it reminds him of his mother, grandparents and motherland.
