1. Who is someone you admire? (Famous or not) I admire James and my mom the most. They are two most important people in my life(not counting Alex). And I can't imagine my life without them(:

2. What’s something that’s happened that’s changed your perspective about things? I think it would be my mothers cancers, it showed me that you have no idea when your life will end or if you'll face life changing medical conditions. Another would be James' deployment. I've learned what it means to love even if you aren't with you 365 days a year. 

3. If you could be an animal, what would you be? Ooo, that's tough. I would say a horse or a tiger. A horse because of the power and agility they have in themselves. And are just so graceful and beautiful. And a tiger because it's pretty and eats things lolol.

4. Favorite flavor, of anything Vanilla and Strawberry. And sometimes peppermint, depending on what it is. 

5. Random fact about yourself I'm from New York and want to move back. 

6. Favorite song right now ohh goodness.. that's a toughy. I really like Crash My Party by Luke Bryan right now(:

7. If you could live anywhere, where would you be? Germany or Mexico. I know they're completely different. But when I went to Gemany two years ago I fell inlove with everything about it. And Mexico is like a second home to me. I go and do mission work there and my perfect ideal Sunday is church at Casa Hogar Douglas with James and then spending the afternoon playing with children and doing projects to better the conditions they live in(:

9. Pet peeve Cabinet doors being open for no reason and a hypocrite. There's more but that's the major ones.

hello, I adopted a us soldier and I got their address and stuff today! I was putting together my letter and I thought Id ask a quick question. Do you know if the envelope has to be plain or can I send a homemade one out of scrapbook paper like I do for my pen pals? Also, would you recommend using colorful stationery or just notebook paper?

I would think that a homemade envelope would be okay! I would double check with the post office first!(: And I personally use notebook paper, just because I prefer it and so does James. But I think either one would work!(:

Most of the time when I reply to people it looks funny and I can never get it to come out right and then I get all flustered because it isn’t working and then I give up. I reply to you in my mind though! (:

I'm mainly talking about people on my feed (you know who you are!) who are constantly complaining about how awkward/lonely/socially inept/what-have-you they feel. 

I offer sympathy, a willing ear and occasionally super-absorbent shoulder pads to cry on, and instead of a "Hey... someone's talking to me!" they keep posting negative shit.

It's very discouraging.

I've been looking for a military pen pal for awhile now and I cant seem to find a reliable site to go about this. I was wondering if you knew of any site that i could go through?

Hey! I’m personally not involved in a site, just because between my fiance and all my friends that getting ready to deploy I send enough mail out to Soldiers and Marines lol. But I know a lot of people us adopt a soldier :) I’ve read and heard pretty good stuff about them! (:

Did you have any surprises today?

In fact, I received the most precious parcel from a penpal. And after receiving a letter yesterday from the North, I feel very loved. The music on the mix CD is magical. I'm not sure I would call it a surprise though...I anxiously await things in the mail every day, ha!

I got to see two of my best friends today too, so there's that.

hey, I just wanted to let you know that I sent out your letter a few days ago. I'm just telling you because I'm not exactly sure that my mail man is taking them where ever it is that he is supposed to take them. Today I got three different neighbors mail. Three! I think I need a new mail man. I've been out of stamps so I've just been putting my letters in the mail box with 46 cents. So, I honestly have no idea if he is even taking them in or just keeping my money.

Thanks for letting me know. That is definitely a frustrating conundrum. I'll be home for 2 more mail days, so here's to hoping that is arrives before I move to school. :)

Complete with quote, pressed flower, questions, facts about self, page from a lovely story, and a letter. Not to mention the gorgeous envelope.
