Bartending ||| offearitself

               It was a late night on a weekend, and one of the rare times when Shiloh got permission to cover the bar, He enjoyed that far more than running around leaving p a p e r  b a g s of who knows what in random places. In addition to the fact that he could see and interact with his manager on a personal basis, whereas he had never met Father Crane, at least not face to face. They texted often enough, seemingly whenever necessary for the owner, but Shiloh preferred knowing who he was working for.                Bartending was straightforward, everything else felt like a daily exam to a course he had never taken. Contemplation shifted gears quickly as a new guest took a seat at the bar--it was quiet on his end at least, and that left room for decent conversation.

              ❝ 'Evening, what’ll it be for          you? ❞                Shiloh flashed a slow, charming grin as he slid a menu towards the guest, although it was rare that someone sat at the bar and didn’t have an order ready for him to relay, and a drink to fix, he still passed around the menu just in case. He got the man a glass of ice water, and slid it towards him atop a coaster with a practiced ease. @offearitself

A green saddle tank engine sat alone on an old set of rails not too far from the harbor. He had been brought across the ocean for some events featuring steam engines, only to be brought to the wrong place. His drivers had left some time ago to try and find someone to get directions from. The ship they were on was supposed to go to New York City, not... not this place. So Percy had been parked off on a rarely used set of rails. He heard things all around him and kept calling out in case it was someone who could help.

“Hello? I think my drivers forgot about me. I’ve been sitting here for awhile and -- hello? I don’t like being out here alone. Is someone there? Drivers? Are you back?”

No response and so Percy was trying to be content with sitting all alone. It was uncomfortable and a little frightening, but visiting other places for events often was. He did look around a little but couldn’t move much without any steam. He didn’t get bored in the normal sense. He just knew he should be somewhere else.

There was a bit of a sssssssh sound as he relaxed again on the groaning set of old track. A slight breeze did cause a slight echo in his whistle.

“I guess I’ll just sit right here. My drivers should be back any moment now.”

Moses, having been brought there for some kind of pet day, was calmly preening himself within his carrier cage - though the crow paused as beady eyes fell on a certain Stufful. Look, now Moses is letting out a caw of greeting, because he wants to make a new friend to go on adventures with!!

Before this, Saitama (affectionately referred to as ‘Saisai’ by most) had been caught up in what he was doing with his little box of crayons and pad of paper to pay Moses much attention.

And then Moses cawed for it. He set down his crayon and trotted over, giggling. “Mo-ses! Hi, Mo-ses.”

“….Of course You’d be asking that one. Wouldn’t you like to know?  I guess it’s pretty disappointing, though: Dying. I definitely am afraid of dying, there a shitton I’d do to save my hide if I were about to die...”

Indeed Yun is very much afraid of dying, and he things he did and would to to prevent his demise are pretty shameless, but it’s not his only big fear. There’s that fear of being treated as a thing or possession again and ultimately being thrown away, he’s scared of being locked up and tortured again and he’s scared of unnatural fire - and frequently plagued by nightmares about various memories and events, but none of this will easily come over his lips.

¿ Are they easily frightened?

“Depends on what you measure... no, I wouldn’t say I’m easily frightened, with all the shit I’ve already seen.”

Unfortunately, he often enough encounteres plenty of new shit that lets him freak out - so despite him being actually quite brave and not easily frightened, he might seem that way, because he still has a very ‘mortal’ set of reactions when being confronted with new horrors. He is, depending on the situation, equally prone to all 4 F reactions to fear -  fight, flight, freeze... or flirt. So it’s impossible to say how he might react to a certain new scary situation.

™Are they possessive?

“Not at all... well, maybe a little. Who isn’t?”

Yun is not materialistic and this goes for people as well - one one hand his own self-consciousness is good enough to not doubt his attractiveness or talent, but on the other hand he also judges himself to be a rather bad person that cannot possibly be loved by a normal person anyway, and even when he has a partner he is quick to think they deserve better than him, both traits make him rather un-possessive... though he does get jealous and possessive if someone actually tries to hit on his date/significant other while he’s present... that usually gets solved with a punch to the bothersome party’s face.
