April 5,2012: Ignorance

Hmm. Hello America, I have a pretty interesting topic today. I would've talked about this yesterday the day that it happened, but I was busy. But ok, as a girl that likes girls, especially in this day and age I should be used to the downsides of the society, right? WRONG?! I still can not believe the ignorance and stupidity that surrounds me everyday. Yesterday I was put in face with the most ignorant displays of disrespect for a group of people. So this very inconsiderate girl said "faggot" and calmly I said "Hey that's really offensive" and she was just like "no it's not, it just means a pile of sticks!. TWIX MOMENT: Ok, so I know that it is technically a pile of sticks but that's not what people mean when they say it. UNPAUSE: me "well *insert name here* that's not how you meant it. And it is offensive word because you don't mean it as "'a pile of sticks'" you meant it as derogatory term towards homosexuality". And she just completely blew if off. I mean I understand that everyone deserves their own opinion, but it's defiantly rude and disrespectful saying something like that is. Especially considering the things she's going through WITH ANOTHER FEMALE! I mean if I called her a bitch, she'd be mad as hell, and I'd just be like "oh no, it just means a female dog, it's not offensive" And she'd be mad as hell. It'd be the same thing. Whateves, this is just unimportant immaturity, I'm not about to get mad. I'm not about that life.

I swear I have the weirdest dreams.

So last night I had a dream Bernie was having a party and I was invited and when I got there Lia & Sarah tried to like beat me up, and then Maggie was Bernie's mom & then a tornado came and like sucked Sarah up and whenever she got back she was Dorothy, I was the tin man, Bernie was the Scarecrow, and Lia was the Lion.
