BEHOLD the new designs for the main cast! I’ve been tweaking some of these designs for about a month and I’m really happy that they are now public! Also, in the upcoming days, I plan on revealing some of the design concepts and names of the areas!

Role: Sans takes place in the ambitious role, and swaps with Papyrus.
Appearance:
Sans is a short skeleton monster that wears a blue coat with golden buttons and a navy blue undershirt. He also has a gray scarf wrapped around his neck. On the left side of his coat, he has a golden pin with the Deltarune inscribed onto it. He has black shorts and wears either pink, blue, or white slippers. His left eye can change into a light cyan blue or a vibrant yellow when using gravity magic.
Bio:
Sans is a lazy skeleton who is the older brother to Papyrus, and occasionally makes bad skeleton puns. Like his brother, he does things that defy physics and make no realistic sense. He is a giant space nerd, and is great friends with Toriel and Alphys. He has a multitude of jobs, some of these are being a sentry in the Frozen Tundra and the Volcanic Ashlands, a comedian at Grillby’s, and a member of the Royal Guard. He enjoys playing the trombone and has trouble solving Crossword puzzles. He also doesn’t want to do anything until he is forced to do it.
HELLO BEAUTIES AND GENTLEBEAUTIES, THE SPECTACULAR SPECTER METTACRIT IS HERE!
Role:
Mettacrit takes the place of the Recluse Role, and swaps with Napstablook.
Appearance:
Mettacrit is a yellow ghost monster, with a hair-like blotch sticking out of their head, resembling Mettaton NEO’s hair in Undertale. He has a red bowtie and three pieces of his body trailing off towards his bottom. Mettacrit also has a golden crown on top of their head, with a red gem in the middle.
Bio:
Mettacrit is the second mini-boss encountered in the Sanctuary. He appears egotistical and a outgoing during his shows, but is secretly caring and shy when alone. He tailors all of Sr. Spooks’ costumes for his performances. Both his bow and his crown are a gift from Asgore, once he moved back into the Sanctuary. His main goal is to entertain others, and make them smile. He also runs a human fan-club, but prefers to keep it a secret.

Meet Asgore, the former king of the Underground.
Role:
Asgore takes the role of The Caretaker and swaps with Toriel here.
Appearance:
Asgore has yellow hair and a beard. He has long horns and appears to look like a goat. He has a green hat with a logo of the Deltarune on it. He has a pink short-sleeved T-shirt with the same logo on it too. He has a belt with a silver buckle. He also wears purple shorts. Asgore is the tallest out of everyone else in the underground.
Bio:
Asgore is the former king of the underground and went back to the Sanctuary due to unknown reasons. In the Sanctuary, Asgore usually helps the locals and is supportive of mostly everyone there. He likes to walk around and water the flowers every once in a while. When not watering flowers or conversing with others, he boils some nice and hot tea and drinks it next to the warm fire. He also occasionally sends letters to other monsters on the other side of the Sanctuary door.

Role:
Chara takes the Protagonist role and swaps with Frisk
Appearance:
Chara wears a green shirt with a single yellow stripe. They have messy and brown hair. They have brown shoes and brown pants. They also have a belt. Chara sports a red scarf around thier neck, and it functions as defense. Chara’s cheeks are a rosy pink and they have brown eyes as well.
Bio:
Chara is the 8th human to fall into the underground, and is also the protagonist and the playable character. They can speak, but they don’t usually like to. When they do, they speak formally and calmly. They fell into the underground for an unknown reason and now they must try and exit it.
