So I spoke to a colleague today, about how I’m really looking forward to see Captain Marvel at the cinema and how I think Brie Larson will be an eye catcher (sorry, not sorry)... and he reacted with “Oh, you like men in tights?” I just said “No?” and he went on like “Ok, it might not really be tights, it might be something like leggings or even a jumpsuit or whatever those superguys are wearing these days.” So I silently opened up a browser tab with a picture of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel on my machine and just sat there, watching him, while he just stared at her picture, obviously in shock. I think I’ll call him Harold from now on.

So fun trying to figure out where to get a group lunch when one person is gluten-free and another is picky and those two refuse to make the decision :/

Coworker 1: (asks their watch) today is the first day of spring

Coworker 2: hey it’s the first day of Spring!

(Everyone in the office looks at me and I’m trying to pretend nothing just happened. also just in case it’s not obvious my first name is Spring)

Coworker 1: it finally happened

Context: we have an unhappy customer who has threatened to visit our office in person. We don’t have a customer-facing office.
