Something that has been haunting me since a while - my office worker friends - we live in a time where online services and mobile phones make you available for your work colleagues and bosses pretty much 24/7.
THAT. SHOULD. NOT. HAPPEN.
Think about how things would be, if we lived in the year 1971. Once you leave the office, nobody would be able to call you. Maybe at home, if you gave them your home number, but if you wouldn't be home, nobody could call you AND IT WAS OKAY!
Or imagine we were in the year 1731. Nobody would be able to call you at all. You would need to write a letter and wait until it arrives. AND IT WAS OKAY!
So normalize not being available after working hours. It's self-care and it is okay. It is not okay to except you to devote yourself to your job. A job is a great, but it's not what should stress you 24/7.
IT IS OKAY TO NOT BE AVAILABLE!
