Starting an office canteen ...

An office of hungry males and one female who enjoys cooking over working ...

It all came about with the usual midday hypothetical question of 'So Coral, what we eating today?' and then all the fast food joints of Newton Park cashing in on guys needing to fill their empty 'bellies'.

Today on the trial menu, the one and only option, was a pita bread stuffed with slow cooked mocha rubbed beef. The smells while cooking where enough to get anyone's stomachs rumbling, fragrant flavours filling the cool winter morning air.

FFWD a few hours ...

So here I sit nervously listening to the sound of hungry staff eating their lunch, waiting anxiously for for the post munch comments ...

The reactions to the presentation were most encouraging, the ooooh and aaaahs over the fact there was 'dassiekos' and even a garnish ! Down to the discussion if that was parsley or coriander ?

Many thanks and wows at how good that was, how much better than fast food and 'when are we doing this again' was all I needed to start thinking about what I was going to put on their plates next week ...
