Rookie Seasons 1, 2 + 3 spoilers!
I actually loved Talia Bishop, and I really really mourned and lamented her lack of role after s1 in the rookie. She was such an amazing character, and had a big impact on Nolan, their relationship/friendship was great. I’d also like to see how Talia and Nyla interact, I think they’d have some small clash in the beginning, but would just slay together by the end of it - making fun of Nolan as T.O’s, and having girls night out with the rest of the girlies.
There was just SO much potential! The friendships with Tim, and the little trio with Angela was so cute! Plus, her moving up bcuz of her crisis w Dylan, but more display of her being the badass officer that she is (basically quoted by Sergeant Grey).
And when I found the guts to search up whether she would appear again (she wasn’t even in Angela’s wedding, n they were besties!), I was so sad to see the reason to be the gorgeous actress facing harassment on set by some specific parties.
And, they didn’t even bother to mention Talia again, which is just really off. Even if she wasn’t appearing (like Jackson’s mom), you could at least keep her character existing on screen - a few text messages here, something there. And I had to look at the Rookie episodes on Wikipedia to understand that she was now in a special forces team/department, something not mentioned anyway in season 2 or 3.
So. My fav Rookie girl mc? Officer Bishop.
