that's an amazing record!
I know, I’m honestly shocked that it took this long for that to happen!!
Don't panic, I never saw The Lion King 'til I was into my twenties, I wouldn't have known what the drawing was either!
It’s funny, because my circumstances were seen as more controversial (according to a lot of people)! I recognised the picture, but that’s because the film that I saw growing up was The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride (which was an awesome film!), where a similar thing is featured. Whenever I’d tell people that I’d never seen The Lion King (not that that was information that I voluntarily gave without being asked), the usual responses would be “HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE SEEN IT?!”, “WHAT A DEPRIVED CHILDHOOD YOU MUST HAVE HAD” (not even, I grew up on Star Wars!!) and “I blame the parents” (admittedly this was a joke response from my uncle). But then. When I’d try and mitigate the situation by explaining that I had seen the second one (which I still maintain is awesome), the general response would be:*COLLECTIVE GASPS OF HORROR* *SHUN THE NON-BELIEVER* *SHUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN*
but then when I was 19, I had had enough of the ostracism!! So I finally watched it. I had known the songs for years (because even not having seen the film the songs were in my psyche). It was very good. I liked it. I think it got over-hyped for me though, as it didn’t have the nostalgic factor. I announced it to the world (via Facebook) and finally, finally, I was accepted into civilised society. But I still think the second one’s pretty damn good.

oh my god, this is terrible. i'm so sorry! is there any chance it could be found? :(
Unlikely unfortunately. We had the police forensics dude come round and he said basically that chances are slim. He also said that unless its a homicide, the resources they have in New Zealand forensics wise are very minimal.
officerbragi a réagi à votre billet :I haven’t seen AoU yet, but it kinda desperates me...
If it’s any use to you: I LOVED IT.
I will watch it anyway, one day or an other. x)
It’s just all of the hate here that bothers me
