"I'm so sorry officer, can i not park here?" Different cities had different rules, Nox was never quite sure what was allowed where. The area was out of the way but maybe it was private property? He'd just wanted to pull off someplace, shower, then work a bit on his newest novel. Or maybe this had nothing to do with parking- Nox pulls on his sweater, pulling his hair out from the collar as he waited for the man to approach.

hey eh? How’s it going. Constable Drake Conners. At your service. Keeping out of trouble are we?

“Trouble?” Layla looked up at the man who was noticeably taller than her. “No. No trouble, officer.” She smiled, pulling her jacket a bit tighter around her. She had finished her shift at the night club, and had been on her were home. The dancer bowed slightly to the constable. “Looking forward to going home and getting some much needed sleep. How about you? Are you keeping out of trouble mister…. Drake was it?”

it didn’t take long when Drake arrived to the little bookstore that he was called to days ago, with ice cream in one hand and another bag in the other hand walking in he looked around before walking towards the back in his uniform, a soft smile on his lips. “Wumuti?” He called out, his voice was soft and calm walking towards the desk with the cash register on top.

Wumuti was on the top of the rolling ladder when Drake came in, and he gasped happily, sliding down the rails before practically floating over to where the officer had already made his way. "Wow, I wasn't expecting you to get her so quickly." He spoke softly, hugging the officer's arm and giving an instinctive nuzzle before he blinked and a blush crept over his cheeks. "I mean..hi!"

That was an interesting question to try and answer.

A subconscious death wish mixed with a craving for transcendence-" he gestured as if that was to be the title of his life's book but it was true, the thrill was part of his selection process. He was the same in his dating,men who felt dangerous, men who felt like they could ruin him, men who felt like they could change his life, it was the reason Daniel spoke to Drake after his gig, not the band, or the allure of a rockstar, no, the stillness that he radiated as well as the danger."I am a pattern seeker. "I'll unravel you if I am given half a chance" was the last thing he managed to purr into Drake's ear before the birthday boy returned to his comrades and Daniel returned to the familiar embrace of nicotine.

He saw two of the troublemakers pass him on their way to their cars, Drake's birthday party now two down but perhaps they all had to be up in the morning, or Daniel was just that nocturnal.

"Well, well look who's back in my neck of the woods" Daniel greeted seeing Drake back on the bar rather than with his friends. "Did they kick you off the cool kid's table?They seem like bullies if I am to be honest with you, I would not put it past them"

Drake arrive after he finished work, he didn’t even take his uniform off. Smiling as he knocked before entering the apartment of his boyfriend. The day was long as he was likely going to get some heck for taking as long as he did to arrive. “Honey bunny boo boo boo! I be home.” He called out grinning.

Jisung made his way over to the door almost instantly as soon as he heard Drake's voice. The moment his boyfriend came into sight, he greeted him with a tight hug, followed by a few kisses. Jisung leaned back slightly to look at Drake. "Look who found his way home. I was about to send a search party after your cute ass, Gucci." He let out a small huff, though it was just a light-hearted jab.

@officerconners replied: Drake would truly love that his face made him look like a cop. He indeed was one, a Constable. But he was off duty for once and was walking back to his stationed apartment that he had been living in for the past 6 months. Or longer, he had lost track by now. But he spotted the other limping and do felt obligated to help and make sure the other was okay. Raising his brows knowing all too well the man was about to deny his help but Drake just couldn’t let them limp to their destination in pain. “Are you ok? Should I call for help?” The off duty officer asked. Drake’s lips curled into a softest of smile shaking his head. “So long as you let me help I’ll make sure you won’t fall and can get your foot looked at ok?” He reassured. “My car has a first aid kit, I can help stabilize it and get you home eh?” He offered.  “It’s getting cold out you wouldn’t want to hurt yourself more without me here.”

(she wouldn't actually, but it wouldn't be a fun time for anyone.) there was a friend's apartment he could lead them to, but if his friend wasn't home, he couldn't pick the lock in front of this cop.. hermes is so caught up in his thoughts that he almost misses what the other says to him. "oh, no, i'm not hurt that badly. it'll just take me a little longer to get home is all." he's giving a wide, bright smile, one that has his eyes almost disappearing. the offer of stabilizing his ankle, and then being driven somewhere was good.. he could easily take that, and then just be dropped off somewhere and.. the blond is nodding. "that would actually be very appreciated. just lead the way to the car and i'll hobble along." he grins a bit, hoping to use a little humor to keep his nerves at bay.
