Mathematics and Monsters
@mysteryhunterarthur spared a moment for a menace
Dennis hated most of his tutors on principal. Typically before even meeting them, it wasn’t exactly their fault, not really but Dennis hated his tutors. Especially when he knew that it was just a useless endevour in the end, something stupid and ridiculous and-
Dennis particularly hated this tutor. Called in to teach him mathematics via it’s application in mechanics; Arthur Kingsmen. He hasn’t yet met the guy, but he already hates him. Because the man’s a member of a Paranormal Investigation team as well, and a prodigy to boot, how’s he supposed to learn anything from a prodigy? The guy made his own arm for God’s sake... No, Dennis already hated this Arthur Kingsmen, he didn’t need to meet him.
Yet here he was, sitting down in one of the rooms set aside for his schooling, pencils perfectly sharpened and laid out on the table in front of him, mathematics book close, and a pile of machinery off to the side that he’s been told with no uncertain terms of the consequences not to touch unless he were to be directed to by his tutor.
A tutor who is running late.
Not that it’s that big a deal, because Dennis is huffy already, because aside learning maths like this, he’s also supposed to ‘subtly’ see what he can learn about the man’s group; The Mystery Skulls. And he’s not looking forwards to it. Whatever they’ve been poking, he just wishes his father would leave him out of it. There’s the squeak of the doorknob and he huffs, rolling one pencil absently he merely looks towards the front of the room as he speaks.
“You are late!”
