"Mystic, did you redesign Hui Ying AGAIN due to not liking her color pallet or hair?"

YES, YES I DID IM INDICISVIE OKAY??

So, imma go over some facts about Hui Ying!

Hui Ying has a MASSIVE fear of dogs. It kinda appeared out of nowhere, but Hui Ying dosent want any dogs in her eye of sight.

Hui Ying, besides her Auntie, is the only female in her family, so she dosent really know much lady things.

Really into types of fashion. She'll go all out, it's really where her creativity shines.

Hui Ying's GPA is specifically a 3.8, she's pretty smart in almost all academic units, it's just with socializing is where she usually fails at it.

Has a extremely short temper. Hui Ying has a tendency to get mad easily when not taken seriously or when things don't go according to her plans.

Tai Yang, Hui Ying's brother, believes she would be a terrifying villan due to her anger and also her smarts.

TAKES. HAIR. CARE. TO. THE. NEXT .LEVEL. when Hui Ying is done swimming in a pool or in a lake, she's washing her hair because she can't let her hair get damaged.

Lived in Celestial realm for most of her life, always wanted to become one of the seven colored Peach maidens.

By Celestial years, she's around Redson's age. In human years, Hui Ying is twenty one years old.

I… I don’t think i’ve ever drawn fan art for something so fucking quickly. But HERE IT IS!! I Absolutely ADORE the redesign, there is just so much thought and consideration to Ink’s story and character, but it doesn’t stray from the Asian vibes that I just live for. 

This design may be simpler, but it’s such an improvement from the previous. I will definitely reference this for the Vantablack redesign (A fusion of Nightmare and Ink, by Accidentverse), but of course won’t be straight up copy uvu.

(Also side note I know the scribble blush is something Mye does overall, but i think it fits Ink so well with his whole artsy thing ;v;)

LMK OC REDESIGN!!

Hello, today I'm redesigning some of my old ocs.

If you look far back in the trenches of my blog, and move some things around, you'd find an OC named Jingwei.

That, my friends, is who I'm redesigning today

(Note, this is a concept of Jingwei's Celestial realm outfit-)

now, for the main lore of Jingwei, you know those anime tropes where the youngest looking ones are technically the oldest?

Well yeah I think that applies to Jingwei.

Jingwei is actually a real Chinese myth who I made into a OC. The main thing is that one day, while playing at sea, 15 year old Jingwei drowned and became a Celestial being. Filled with rage, she started to fill the ocean with pebbles so no one shares the same fate.

Now, idk that if you're a Celestial you age, especially if you where once Mortal. So I assumed they age REEEALLLY slowly

Her description (atleast, her bird form) is that she's a raven with red webbed feet. Jingwei does have red feet, she just always wear shoes when in human form.

However, considering some of the lore given to us in LMK S5, funny enough, was a concept that was part of the more lore I gave Jingwei. However, I won't get into that!

if you're thinking that the hair bangs are similar to Hui Ying, that's cause you're right.

I did base Hui ying's current design on this one, because funny enough, Jingwei is Hui Ying and Tai's grandmother. How, you ask?

Well, in some Chinese legends, they say Jingwei is a spirit protector. Therefore Jingwei can see spirits, hear them, talk to them, and see her own.

Jingwei, one day, just decided that she wanted to be a parent. So she grabbed a part of her soul, added some random ingredients like a witch, and nine months later she successfully made Hui and Tai's dad. (Even though it took actual milliena for it to actually succeed, Jingwei failed a lot of of times)

Tai sketches! (+ fun facts)

decided to give my Boi Tai a redesign since I kept on doing him dirty with my past designs

This is the official redesign of Tai!

The main reason for Tai's redesign is because now that I have made his and Hui's mom and have their dad's color pallet set, I made Tai look a little more like his mom.

(Also HIS CLOTHES WHERE TRASH so I replaced it with a attempt of Chinese street clothing cus Tai got that street smarts)

Fun fact about Tai! His eyes are naturally slanted. Jingshen, like Hui, has slanted eyes, however while Hui ying's eyes are a little more round, Jingshen's genes gave Tai natural slanted eyes. Because of this, people mistake him for a girl

Another fun fact! : Tai would constantly break small rules as a kid and teen while growing up in the Celestial realm cause some of his teachers where kind of sexcist towards Hui ying, and Tai wasn't going to let his sister be treated like that.

Last fun fact!: Tai prefers to wear contacts, and not his glasses. This is mostly because he's obsessed with those red sunglasses he sees at the mall. He has like, five different kinds of red sunglasses.
