“I could play the doctor, I can cure your disease.”
Warning: This is a long blab for a Lab Rats x Mighty Med fanfic so if you don’t want to read, then scroll.
There is something I wanted to write that’s involving both Chase and Kaz. I want to write about how often Kaz had to take care of his siblings and how ignored Chase was, so when he’s sent to the Mighty Med hospital after the whole show down. Kaz is really feeling apologetic, so he just showers him with a lot of attention and positive reinforcement. Chase starts freaking out as he’s never experienced this type of attention and Kaz just calms him: holding/hugging him, fetching food for him, tucking him back in the hospital bed, etc. Chase tends to like being cared for and begins to let Kaz “mother” him. 
He knows what he’s doing is typically what a mother would do for her child. Even going so far to asking him, “Am I your child or something?” Kaz says that he is when he’s in the hospital, then goes to fetch some applesauce and banana pudding for both of them. Chase just bit the insides of his cheek not knowing want to do, but he knows that he never wants to leave as he pretends to get worse before he gets better. Mr. Davenport along with Douglas went to retrieve him from there while demanding he be discharged.
Kaz didn’t liked being yelled at by some man who was clearly graying and hiding the fact of that (that part made Douglas giggle). Davenport was shocked by Kaz’s words with him. Out of spite, Kaz held onto Chase for another week. “He’ll be discharged on my terms not on your demands.” Davenport went back to the island informing Chase’s siblings that he’s so called doctor won’t let him out for another week. They don’t believe it, they need him for an upcoming mission.
Douglas just hung around the hospital and pestering Horace about silly things - the two did bond over bridges though. Chase thought it was odd about how many times Horace talked about them but Kaz says it’s about the most normal thing that man says. The two get along more swiftly than Oliver and him. Alan definitely notices the jealousy on Oliver but doesn’t say anything to Skylar so she could see for herself. When she does, she gets upset for Oliver, and told Kaz that he was ignoring his best friend for his patient.
He told her that he hadn’t being ignoring Oliver, instead it was the other way around. He shows her the message log clearly showing that Oliver was only reading his messages not replying to them. Now she was mad at Oliver for not replying to Kaz.
I could blab all day about what I’m wanting to write. Please send help I will desperately needs it 😅☠️
