my character is kei fukuyama, shsl otokoyaku !! (to sum up what that is if youre curious - she’s an actress in the takarazuka revue, an all female musical theater troupe, an otokoyaku specifically being the one who plays the male roles)

will your oc recognize kei?

if your oc follows the theater scene, there’s a pretty solid chance they’ll know who she is!! she’s gained a lot of traction in the takarazuka scene, for being so skilled in spite of being relatively new to the troupe, and shes got quite a number of fans

actresses in the revue who’ve been acting for seven years or less are considered underclassmen, and are typically only given minor roles in the troupe’s performances. there is, however, one night in each show’s run where the underclassmen are given the bigger roles - the shinjin kouen (for anyone looking at her about page and reading the bio and going “britt what the heck is this!!” this is, what that is). kei, who is considered an underclassman, has gotten all of her major roles from these nights

her first big role was as don lockwood in singin’ in the rain, while her most recent was as erik in phantom (not andrew lloyd webber’s musical)

she also did a handful of commercials for various things as a kid like... ten years ago but the chances of your oc recognizing her from those is very unlikely

im down for shipping but its.... gonna be tricky mostly bc of her job but. hey shes far away from the troupe in Murder Town so who knows??? but also shes just kind of. a lot sometimes

i’ll generally only take about three public threads at a time bc tumblr is.... a nightmare, but i’ll take plenty of private threads... yee haw

Fun Kei Facts(tm)

she’s really fond of birds and horses!! she doesn’t really have the time to have any pets but she appreciates them from afar nonetheless..

plays the piano really well !!

her parents are pretty accomplished in the movie industry, and were a big part in kei’s desire to be an actress, even if she does so on the stage rather than the silver screen (for the time being, at least)

she doesn’t use the internet a whole ton, and is... not great with technology. she’s terrible at video games

drinks a lot of tea and water, she’s never touched a coffee in her life

Tbh I feel prehistoric coming on and finding all these new Beatles roleplayers...when in actuality, I’ve only been here a year...  regardless, I wish I didn’t feel that way hahah xD

I honestly feel like playing George for a year has stretched him so thin that I've made him a flat and boring character that no one wants to deal with anymore cause they can predict the outcome of my writing and that makes me sad cause I love writing George. And I wish I was still good at him. I just kind of feel as though I've ruined him?? Like when I write a thing, people are just like "oh god this again." or like... I dunno. I don't want to give him up, but I don't really know what to do either.
