Rich as fuck let me tell you, Taka’s worth a lot of money, even as a disappointment, she’s still carrying the family name. Her family comes from old money, and other than among coordinators, they are a name known in Ecruteak City. They have managed to both maintain and generate their own revenue because of the coordinators or dancers they tend to produce. Her mother is a retired coordinator and her father is a CEO of a company in Goldenrod City.
Takako never talks about how much money her parents have for several reasons. She doesn’t think it’s necessary, but also when she started out from home, she made sure not to take advantage of their money. She’s made her own money since she’s been on her own. In more recent years even with her mother’s sudden obsession with trying to make some sort of bond between Taka and her, she will refuse money from her parents.
If she ever brings friends to her home in Ecruteak, they tend to be a little surprised at what kind of a home she lives in.

Taka on her own has traveled to about most regions pokemon world, but she has not been to the Sevii isles and some portions of Sinnoh because it’s just too cold, or regions like Fiore, Oblivia, or Almia mainly because it really isn’t common to visit those regions.
When she was much younger her family would take trips to Kanto often and then Lumiose City and Castelia City in the summer to help further Arisu’s career. Once Arisu and Tatsuya’s careers both took off, and Taka was enrolled into the KDT, the family stop traveling as much.
Takako currently travels the different regions by herself in search of rare herbs for her medicines and new ingredients for her treats.
