❂ Your muse just had a nightmare and needs cuddles to fall asleep again.

Shaz sits up- well, sort of, half of the way- and gives Cherry a squinting, half-asleep frown of concern as they listen to her describe the nightmare she just had.

   “It’s okay.” They say reassuringly. “It’s over, you’re awake. I’ve got you.”

 Shaz puts their arms around her and gently rubs her back with one hand while placing the other one in her hair. They keep holding her like that until she falls back to sleep.
