Emma doesn’t have many of those, but all of them involve her baby sister. Her happiest one was after their mom took them away from their father after he gave them their powers. As a sign of good faith, she cut off all alcohol for a few months. When Christmas came that year and the snow fell thick, the three women were together as a family for the very first time. Evelyn (aka the mom) took the girls out to build a snowman, but they kept on pranking her. After it was done, Emma would nudge Leah to melt it with her ice powers, and when Evelyn turned around to build a new one, Emma would rebuild it with her ice ones. She still cherishes her sister’s laughter in her heart. @warmhcart

Okay Barry didn’t even know it was possible for feet to sweat. He ran faster than the speed of light and had never had this problem. But right now he was just so damn nervous he guessed his hands needed some help with the sweating thing. It was Christmas evening, candles lit around the living room with the lights sparkling on the tree. Amazingly, snow was falling outside, gently and quietly. Basically it was extremely romantic and he and Iris were the only ones in the room. Everyone had passed out in their beds from an overconsumption of Grandma Esther’s eggnog, leaving the two of them sitting there on the couch enjoying the snow out the window. “You know…” Barry was speaking before he could even stop himself. “This is probably one of my most favorite Christmases.” He said softly, studying Iris like she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Actually, scratch that. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Inside and out, almost impossibly. He found himself leaning in, his heart racing so fast he felt it might burst out of his chest. Was this happening? Was this really happening? What was he doing? A pair of lips met his own, immediately shutting up his thoughts, and suddenly in that moment everything was set right in the world.
