Obsessed!Aerion who hates the fact that his aunt married his uncle Baelor and not his father. She has perfect valyrian features, just like his father! She should be his mama, not of those impure brats, Valarr and Matarys 😤
Obsessed!Aerion who is convinced that his dragon egg would’ve certainly hatched if his blood were a combination of his father’s and his aunt’s. Not poluded by the dornish one.
Obsessed!Aerion who acts like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth when she is near, hiding all his cruelties under the facade of the perfect prince. He is so good at it that when word of him harming someone or being rude to servants reach her, she doesn’t believe it. He is her sweet nephew.
Obsessed!Aerion who makes sure to sit beside her during family meals and feasts. Always handing her something out of her reach or refilling her goblet, just to receive a smile and a thank you, sweet boy from her. Sometimes even a playful pinch to the cheek. He will sulk the entire time if someone sits beside her first.
Obsessed!Aerion who has a collection of tokens he collected through the years. Handkerchiefs, gloves, ribons, stockings, a hairbrush with silken strands of white hair still attached to it. Even shoes. He likes to take one of them or spread all of them on his bed so he can caress and breathe in the objects that touched her perfect body. He gets a little jealous that they could touch her and he cannot. Not in the way he truly wants. He absolutely uses them to touch himself.
Obsessed!Aerion who knows her routine better than his own. He knows what she is doing at all times of the day and night, so he can “coincidently” run into her as often as he can. So he can have small doses of her attention to soothe his hunger. Telling her about something he accomplished just to hear her say good boy.
Obsessed!Aerion who reads ALL the books she reads so he can talk to her about them, this way ensuring more time spent with her. While he is reading, he fantasies about her at his bedside, reading those words to him as he falls asleep with her soft voice and softer fingers running through his hair.
Obsessed!Aerion who uses the death of his mother as a way to get her affection. He sits somewhere he knows she will pass by and sulks, even managing a few tears to wet his cheeks. When she asks what is wrong, he pouts and says he misses his mama, eyes all sad and shining. He melts and almost purr as she coos at him and hugs him to her bossom, standing between his parted thighs. He hugs her back, clinging to her waist as he forces himself not to lick the soft skin of her cleavage.
Obsessed!Aerion who absolutely HATES when she gives her sons attention. He wants to stab someone when he has to watch her hug them, kiss their foreheads, cup their cheeks, giving them that motherly look that he never quite gets. She looks at him with love, she says soft things to him and smile at him, but it is never that adoring. In his head, they don’t deserve such perfect, doting mother. HE does. The next person who crosses him is in grave danger.
Obsessed!Aerion who fantasizes about killing Baelor, Valarr and Matarys, to have her all to himself. He dreams of marrying her. If he couldn’t have her as his mama, because Baelor stole her from his father, then she would take care of him as his wife. Cuddle him, kiss him, tell him he is her handsome dragon...
I was trying to go on one of those "Christmas trains" and the station was outside my aunt's house and the conductor never showed up so my aunt made me drive the train but I didn't know how so I drove it off a cliff and then it started flying upwards, Grease-style.
i had this thought for while after seeing the ROs as uncles and aunties post and a thought came to me : which uncle/auntie RO talk abt MC heroics deeds to MC kid the most?
(lmao jst imagen the church wedding place (when using WoP) becoming a historic place and MC kids seeing it Trouble: “ye we found your parent hare after they done this crazy right?”)
Blade: never talks about the past or anything (at least not of his own volition), so to this day MC's kid still isn't entirely clear how he met MC, what relationship he has to their family, or anything lol, he's quite reticent so he's not just naturally bringing up the past a lot!
Trouble: brags openly about MC's heroics and even exaggerates them to be insanely epic, almost unbelievable tales
Tallys: tells MC's kid about the past with accuracy and composure, but typically mostly when they ask, not often unprompted
Shery: tells MC's kid about MC's deeds frequently, especially when reminded (such as in your example, passing Qael-Qanaeon or some other important site and recounting her memories of what MC did there proudly)
Riel: doesn't verbally talk about MC's heroics much, but tells the kid to read the book he wrote about it LOL
Chase: he's MC's hype man but also an untrustworthy liar lol, he's taking every opportunity to make MC (and himself) larger than life to the kid, always name-dropping their escapades and adventures every chance he gets... but definitely inserting himself into it, it's always like "yeah that's where your dad and I got into a scuffle with some demons... we really got crazy back in those days, eh MC?" "Chase what are you talking about, I hadn't even met you yet" "aaaaanyway this is where I helped your dad stop some innocent merchants from being raided" "that was you. and you pickpocketed me, too!" "must have been someone else~ you believe me, don't you MC's kid~?"
Red: I think he's more on Tallys's side of things where he'll talk about MC's heroics honestly and enthusiastically, but generally only when asked or prompted by a specific memory: he's cognizant of not making MC's kid feel overshadowed by their parent's legendary past, so he's not going to bring it up overmuch unless they want to hear about it!
Ayla: she'll talk about it but like downplay MC's heroics a bit lol, kind of like "yeah that was cool and all but if I'd have been there, it wouldn't have even happened like that..." Kind of her way of teasing MC if they're within earshot, or jokingly taking the opportunity to redirect the kid's attention to her exploits and boast about how cool she is!
Halek: he doesn't tend to boast about anybody, so I think he'd be in the Blade camp of being that quiet uncle where you're not even entirely sure how he knows your parent, he's just around and invited to all of the family events and etc, and then you find out he's the sol of the Reach or something and you're shook because you just know him as the unc who taught you how to play chess in the backyard or something lol
Briony: she's MC's hype man like Trouble, but for real, she's overflowing with praise and excited retelling of ALL of MC's heroics, to the point where she can tell the same story like 6 times with the same genuine enthusiasm as if she's never told it before! "Oh, did you ever hear the one where your parent saved Lady Prihine Naveen? Well, I heard it happened like this..."
Lavinet: she doesn't talk about the past unless specifically asked, and even then presents herself and other people in a very specific "I'm a perfect adult and never did anything messy in my life, can't relate to your struggles" kind of light, so she wouldn't really be one to be recounting old tales or MC's past or heroics unless it was a way to subtly tease MC if their kid asked her about it in MC's presence!
Honestly this experience is so hard to put into words. I was scared shitless going into this event. I never thought I would do anything like this, ever. The night before I left, I felt my anxiety spike as I was finishing packing. And it never really went away until a bit into the event.
The first night I was mostly just standing in the corner, feeling overwhelmed but still making some connections! But as time went on, it got easier and I was able to open up and form friendships that I will take with me for the rest of my life.
I have so many good memories from this event. Late nights, Mario Kart, too many shots, laughter, pool party, but mostly just happiness from being with my new friends.
The morning I left, I was flooded with emotions because I didn’t want to say goodbye to all the people I had quickly become friends with. It’s still hard on my heart because I miss everyone so much, but I know that I’ve made lifelong friendships and will see everyone again soon 💙

I’m so sorry if we met and I didn’t tag you, I’m still putting faces/names to tumblr usernames 😂 But honestly every single person who I interacted with was so incredible and you all have changed the course of my life. I never thought in a million years that I would’ve had the courage to do this but I am so glad that I did. ❤️
So now I’m home I’m able to make this post, this years aunt was amazing, it was both my second aunt and second gathering.
First of course finally after 3 years I finally meet @happydayz101 and it was wonderful 😭 she’s proof that making genuine connections and building trust is important. Our sessions were the best I’ve ever had and just spending time with her was amazing 💙
Meeting @theminipotat was also something planned and it was pure joy, we couldn’t do everything we planned but what we didn’t plan and ended up doing made up for it. Lux you are loved, valued and appreciated never forget that 🫂
Made new friends @xcelsior24 @shy-ticklish-lee @tinydancer1112 and @the-purple-shirted-tickler and we all just hung out in a room playing Mario kart 😂🔥
And lastly reconnecting with everyone else who I met last year @theowylshop @sptfrtkl @sugarsoakertkl @yourlittlettoy @jerjero @puzz-ler @starrmystique despite of it was brief or not was wonderful, going in and out of the party rooms, seeing and hearing the laughter from both sinful and non sinful acts, and all around just feeling at home.
