“Er, h-here--” She shoves an envelope at them like it’s going to explode if she holds onto it for a second longer. “A - uh - a s-season pass for this year’s Competitive League in Goldenrod. I was given three for friends or family, but - m-my dads can’t get enough vacation time to make use of them, and my friends in Mystic are keeping the team running while I’m gone. Regardless--th-the passes will just go to waste otherwise.”

“First of all, how fucking dare you.” he was furious and it was in every pore of his being how he felt as he sneered down the one who dared ask him such a question. “Listen here, bastard… I didn’t give up on my dream and goals.” he snapped, almost shouting at this person who dared attack his wife in such a way.
