.｡.:*☆ Wanda was still on her mission to re-connect with other Avengers and the people around them. Hope was someone she had only heard of, Scott had been talking about her now and then while being imprisoned in the Raft.

However, just showing up to see Hope out of the blue seemed odd. Like, where should she even start? Not to mention, Wanda and Scott had not been talking for a while, either. But, she was here now. So it would maybe be more awkward to just leave again.

“Hope? Hi... I am Wanda. No idea if Scott did ever mentioned me? I am a friend of Tony. Tony Stark. So, uhm... do you have a minute, maybe?”

Miles really thought he was used to every weird thing the multiverse could throw at him. He’d met alternate versions of people he’d watched die, come to a world where his murder was a fairly popular episode of Buzzfeed Unsolved, and he’d honestly thought things couldn’t get weirder than that. There’d been some comfort in knowing that, too, some relief in the thought that things were as weird as they were going to get.

Unfortunately, he was totally wrong about that.

Now there was another version of him hanging around, one that was older and a little more sketchy, and Miles was at a loss. Looking at this older version of himself, he couldn’t help but wonder if he was staring into his future. And that scared him. It scared him so much, in fact, that he didn’t hear the hurried footsteps indicating someone was approaching him until a stranger had her arms around his shoulders, pulling him into one of the tightest hugs he’d ever experienced. “Um,” Miles said, a little uncertainly. “Hi? I’m --- Do we know each other? Not that this isn’t nice! This is really nice! Just... Not what I’m used to?”

“Goodness, how dramatic,” Isabella said with a small laugh, though she couldn’t tell if the other woman was being sincere. “I’d like to think I know more than a rat. As a librarian, it’s my job to know things.” She didn’t consider herself a hoarder of knowledge, the way Edward was, but she liked to think of herself as cleverer than most people. And, even though she shouldn’t pry, her innate curiousity got the better of her, and she said, “Can I ask why you have such a. pessimistic worldview?”

      Just because she turned to crimes for money to get by didn’t mean she couldn’t have some fun, even if it backfires. Which in this case, it did. So much so that she got caught by the cops, and was about to be hauled back off to Arkham or who knows where when she was offered a deal.        And of course, Bridgit took it. Anything beats Arkham, she did not want to go back to that place- she would rather return to the Narrows before setting foot on those cursed grounds!

      Now here she was, being escorted through S.H.I.E.L.D. to meet the hero who was going to have custody of her.
