gaston constantly wondered why he’d agreed to go on this four month long journey to india. it was taking forever, gaston couldn’t wait to see the beautiful lands that balamohan had promised him, for a small price. that small price turned into a HUGE burden. gaston felt like his slave ! but, along their journey, gaston was soon realizing there was something different about this man. he knew something dark, something gaston hadn’t told a soul. there was no possible explanation, except for SORCERY; the very thing he’d never believed in. now he was bound to this man because of this deep, dark secret. gaston had no choice but to become his servant in exchange for keeping his life.
to make matters worse, he’d even fallen for this man.
balamohan was handsome & outgoing, much like himself. gaston could see many of his own qualities in him. but gaston wouldn’t speak a word of his attraction to the magician. chances are, he already knew how gaston felt, since he seemed to know everything else. it was hard to express something that was so taboo, so frowned upon. it was a SIN to have the feelings that gaston had for bala.
& so here they were, camping out in the forest, not even halfway through their journey, & gaston was going to EXPLODE. he wanted to share his feelings, but he didn’t want bala to KILL him. he didn’t want to be outed for having these ill intentions with other men ( well one in particular ) but it was killing him inside to keep the feelings suppressed. “ what is WRONG with me... ” he asked himself softly, staring up at the clear night sky, eyes moving to look at bala, who was asleep.
