Adieu, Kochi!

Made this sketch in memory of our first home together in the beautiful city of Kochi. As we move yet again to another home and another city in a different part of India, this sketch of the Kochi harbour as seen from our bedroom will continue to remind us of all our shared firsts- birthdays, anniversaries, times spent with families and friends; the sea breeze and the monsoon rains; the many shared chais and the filter coffees- times cherished forever.

Of sumptuous meals in faraway places!

The fried mandu (dumpling) and Bukchon Manduguk from this restaurant (tagged below) at Insadong (Seoul) is *highly* recommended! Probably our favourite meal from the trip.

Seoul, South Korea | Hand-drawn maps

Seoul, the capital of S Korea is an incredibly dense, beautiful city that lies both north and south of the Han River. Surrounded by mountains all around, the city itself is fairly poly-centric and has an architectural variety spanning the ages. 

While we only spent a cumulative of 4 odd days here, I felt that it was comparable to Tokyo in many ways, although much more modest and maybe far more ambitious.
