I drew this almost a year ago and am only finding the time and will to post this now- a testament to how life changes once you’re a parent.

Late new year post!
2020 for us is, was and will always remain the year Baby J came into our lives and enlivened them ten fold. While we’ve been grateful for our blessings all day, every day, we know 2020 hasn’t been kind to a lot of us. Here’s hoping that changes soon for all; 2021- please be nice!
Late post | Spending a lot of time these days watching these beautiful multi hued leaves falling all over our garden- a reminder of the days gone past and a harbinger of good times yet to come. Ink and watercolour

Would love to know any good books you all have read lately or are currently reading?

Back Bay fishermen, Bombay Living by the sea for the last 18 months, I’ve come to appreciate the rhythm of sea life. Here in Bombay, I’ve especially come to enjoy watching the fishermen go past morning and evening, regular as the sun, always the surest sign of my days passing by. Here’s a quick sketch of a lone boat I spotted yesterday early morning, eagerly rowing their way home. Ink and watercolour.
Step 1 to becoming a Mumbaikar. Learning all about the Locals!

Adieu, Kochi!
Made this sketch in memory of our first home together in the beautiful city of Kochi. As we move yet again to another home and another city in a different part of India, this sketch of the Kochi harbour as seen from our bedroom will continue to remind us of all our shared firsts- birthdays, anniversaries, times spent with families and friends; the sea breeze and the monsoon rains; the many shared chais and the filter coffees- times cherished forever.

Some more early morning people sketching at Goa, India.
