I've always been afraid of the dark (still sleep with a lamp on), and I have terrible eye sight. So I'd look into my open wardrobe at night and see the weirdest things, like strange figures just sitting there or faces and eyes. I started closing my wardrobe at night because of this, but then noticed a gap that formed because my wardrobe door wouldn't shut all the way and this was way worse, seeing that strip of darkness and imagining little eyes staring at me. I just keep it completely open now.

I used to find shapes on the ceiling in the little bumps that are like stucco or whatever.  this room has a smooth ceiling though, so I can't do that while I lie in bed anymore, but I find shapes in EVERYTHING, like I know that there's a cat peeking above one of the steps in my house.

Hi :) I'm Deshani. I just read through some of your posts and just wanted to say that you seem pretty incredible, and your life sounds wonderful! I love reading about travelling! What are you studying? How's India?

Hi Deshani! :D I'm glad you enjoy reading my posts (although I haven't been posting a lot lately). I love to write about travelling. ;) 

I'm currently studying International Development, but I'm hoping to bridge back into Global Health as well before I graduate next May. There are no words to describe India except INDIA. I absolutely love it here and wish I was staying much longer than a short 4 months.
