It always came to this, to them pushing each other’s buttons. God, she knew for a fact that he was aware of the effect he had on her, of how every pore on her body ached when he whispered into her ear in promise of what was to come. Of course he was gone before she had a chance to retaliate, leaving the girl with flushed cheeks and an uncomfortable sensation between her thighs.
❛ What if I do? Will you punish me? ❜
Her voice died off into a chuckle as she wanted him walk away, a smirk plastered on her lips. Veronica Lodge had made the firm promise to stay away from trouble and boys who were trouble; Jason Blossom was just that. Not only was he devilishly handsome but he had a skill that would make most girls melt. Veronica wasn’t like most girls and, yet, she had fallen in his whirlwind of charm. He spoke with such confidence and smiled as if he knew the world belonged to him; it angered her, angered her to the point in which the only thing she wanted to do was kiss that smile away. Hate had sparked a competition; whoever felt something fist, lost. It was easy; a game they had both played before and whose rules they had invented.
Needless to say, twenty minutes later; twenty five, to be exact. the sound of her sneakers stepping over the tiled floor announced her entrance. Crossing her arms in front of her chest, Veronica leaned against one of the lockers, feline gaze taking in his form.
❛ My...my...if it isn’t Jason Blossom...what are the odds? ❜
