@hiarchie || post-talent show.
❝ Cute girl, ❞ Madison said lightly as she watched Val retreat down the hall. She’d come up behind Archie not more than a couple of seconds ago and now, as she stepped in by his side, she didn’t pull her eyes from Val’s retreating back. ❝ Gotten any pussy from that cat yet, or is she holding out? ❞
Now she turned to look at him, eyebrows lifting as the smallest smirk played on her lips. Madison Montgomery didn’t go to Riverdale High. She didn’t even live in Riverdale. She was passing through, scouting talent, as they called it, for the coven. It was all over the news — and a lot of weird things had been happening in a small town. Of course they’d sent someone to search it out. And a talent show? She was always up for entertainment.
❝ What did you say your name was up there? Arfie? Whatever, you’re cute. ❞ As always, she had a strongly no-holds barred attitude; she simply hoped he could keep up.
what? the fuck?
those were the only three words he could really use for the conversation. what? did this girl even go to riverdale high? archie knew that was definitely a no, considering he definitely would have recognized her if she did. because he knew everyone, you know?
still, regardless of whatever ridiculously irreverent comment she just made, the mistaken name was able to get a laugh out of the redhead. “archie. it’s archie. like, short for archibald.” she didn’t ask, arfie. “but uh, thank you?” he replied, an eyebrow raising with the question as she stood in front of him. “i’m sorry, and you are? no offense, i mean. i just, i’ve never really seen you around, i don’t think.” he said, saving face lamely. in all honesty, he was still sort of taken aback by her first words to him. especially considering his father, fred andrews, alive and well, was just down the hallway.
