So fellas ….. how about that OFMD S3 news. I have thoughts.
I think I’m a little surprised at how genuinely upset I am. Like I started crying when I saw the stupid news tweets on my feed. And I think that surprise stems from how ready I thought I was for it to end, since HBO tried so hard to sabotage the second season. I figured they would get their grubby little way, and I was still pretty happy with the way we left our beloved crew at the end of S2
But even then, even knowing it was probably the end for us, I still had a little hope. I fantasized about a third season and everything it would entail. All the little adventures and shit we might get. Stede’s goofy ass, on my TV again. I think I dreamt about it just enough for this news to feel like a rug pull.
I think most of all I’m just angry. My little oasis of queer love got cut short by a few execs that wanted it to fail so bad.
