Talon knew she was here, they just had to. Only they would sacrifice so many of their own in order to get a shot at her. The blast, along with destroying half the building and setting the entire place ablaze, had sent her flying into the wall, leaving her left arm smashed and immobile. If Hana hadn’t flown in at the last second, she probably would have been blown to pieces. As Sombra struggles to stand, Hana grabs her wrist and pulls her along, kicking the door to the stairway open.“Quickly! We need to go up higher.” 

Sombra summons all the strength she has left, she needs it to keep up as the two scale the steps, Hana desperately calling for help into her comm link as they reached the top floor. They slam the door behind them and the hacker immediately crumbles down to the floor. “No, no, sit up, you’re going to be okay. Help is on the way.” The younger of the two urges, pulling the hacker so she can sit up against a nearby desk. The sharp movement makes her hiss in pain, reaching over to grab the arm that she can no longer move or even feel thanks to the adrenaline pumping in her veins.  “You.. shouldn’t have done that, conejita, your mech-”“Forget about that! You think I was just going to watch you get blown up?!” “Now we’re both stuck..” “Pharah is on her way, she’s going to help us get out-”“She can’t possibly carry us both, not while under fire-”“I’m not leaving you here. So stop.” Her voice is stern, but the worry in her face speaks volumes, a lump forming in her throat as she looks away, “I’m going to figure it out, don’t worry.” Exhaustion is setting in where pain should be, so Sombra simply stops talking for the moment, her eyes searching Hana’s face. She can see the mech pilot is running scenario and scenario in her head, and as each one fails her she grows more frustrated, more desperate to do the impossible. If anyone can do the impossible it’s Hana Song, but at the moment the future wasn’t looking too bright. Reaching out she cup’s the other girl’s face, startling her out of her thoughts. As she looks the hacker in her eyes, she feels hot tears form in the corners of her eyes and she quickly looks away. “Don’t-”“Te amo con todo mi corázon, Hana.” “Sombra, stop-” “I love you.. with every fucked up piece of my heart, you know that right?”“Please-”“You know that, right?”“Yes! I know- I know you do..”Another crash is heard and the windows around them shatter, the familiar whirring of jets followed soon after. Pharah lands and immediately runs their direction, Hana jumping up to meet her halfway. The taller woman looks at her first before shooting a worried look in the hacker’s direction. “Fareeha, take Sombra first please.”“Hana, there’s no time, I can’t possibly get you both out-”“I’ll be able to call my mech in four minutes, I can wait that long, just take her-” “Hana, this building is going down now, you won’t make it-”“Please, Fareeha, I can do this just believe in me!” They lock challenging gazes, both stubbornly furrowing their brows for the moment before Fareeha glances past Hana over at Sombra who’s still sitting near the desks. As she does the hacker simply smiles, it’s a weak, melancholic one, before she slowly shakes her head and mouths the word ‘go’. She pauses a moment, seeming to wrestle with her thoughts before she finally turns and lifts Hana up over her shoulder in one quick swoop. She’s walking quickly to the edge, keeping her grip a death lock around the younger’s waist as she twists and flails, trying to get free. “No! Please!! What are you doing, we can’t just leave her-”“I’m not going to lose two of my friends today, Hana.” “Fareeha!” Her voice cracks, sobs hitting her body as tears begin to stream down her cheeks, “Please-”“I’m sorry.” She says quietly, shutting her eyes a moment before activating her thrusters, taking off into the skies just as the building gives way and collapses down to the ground.

“Where did they say this mission was again?”

He’s more inclined to let it be a surprise but he’s walking into this rather blind all things considered. Search & aid was the motto that’d crept up on him and now here he was eager to know just where it was they were being deployed.

“...should I be concerned as to what we’ll be facing as well?”

This was one of his first missions as an Overwatch Agent after all.

The event was huge, far bigger than he had thought it would have been. ‘Just a few celebrities’ they said. There were at least hundred people in this huge ballroom. Everyone mingling and chatting and drinking whatever expensive wine or champagne was being served. Thankfully, he didn’t draw any attention to himself, he blended in perfectly fine as he moved though the crowd, making sure that everything was fine.

He didn’t care much for most of these celebrities, and really, the only one he truly noticed was a young female, and it was not for good reasons.

He stepped towards her, well aware that he had been instructed to only speak to the guests if he had to. “Hana Song?”

“No, Hana my mug-!”

It was too late. As Hanzo tried to back up to put his mug aside, Hana approached much faster than he could act and, before he knew it, she actually threw herself at him. Letting go of the files in his one hand and the mug in the other one, he caught his girlfriend, wrapping his arms around her as he stumbled a bit, the impact knocking him off-balance a bit as a loud crash and splash could be heard.

Goodbye, Gudetama mug.

With some of the hot tea hitting his leg, Hanzo jumps a bit to the side, away from broken mug and its spilled contents as he looks down at it, still shocked. Then, after a moment, he speaks up. “What has gotten into you..?”
