To be quite honest, the lady’s knowing smile—though sincere and kind—was a little bit unnerving for the magician. Not that he didn’t like overly-welcoming old ladies that is one breakfast spread away from force feeding him right in the middle of their quaint bed and breakfast, but it was mainly because of the fact that she was keeping an eye on the Odinsons. Newlyweds. Honeymoon. That while it seemed like Zain cashed in on his luck for being married with an actual Asgardian, one that oozed with such majesty and beauty that every movement he did was a distraction—more so since he was practically bursting in his clothes despite how they should have been baggy on some mundane human—he was more distracted by the fact that he is, indeed, one of Asgard. A god on earth. It was like working with Superman—except he’s more than willing to play the part that a greeting from her alone was a cue for him to pull him for a sideways hug and have his face pressed against the proud swell of his breasts --------- all the way up to their room. Also for a normal human perspective. Every time they come back, Zain was reminded of how they both dwarfed the room so easily—it was enough for the magician to shoot the other a glance as he let his weary form find respite on the edge of the bed.
“--------- if the lead is right, we still need to wait until tomorrow to continue on with the search,” Zain shrugged, humming on as he tried to pull on at the vestiges of ley energy to make sure that the wards in the building were intact. He sighed then. It was a day of seeking information and he just needed the shower really. But he is a Zatara. They are and always have been the greatest of hosts. “You should clean up, I’ll try to find a place that can deliver a feast to sate your godly appetite.”
