the freestyle round has finished, and the votes are in the middle of being cast. no sooner had she gone backstage to prep for her big re-entrance to announce prizes than she was accosted by not one, but two angry spectators demanding that they have their way. and ordinarily, she would’ve just laughed them off…not this time though. not when @ofreborngods was leading the investigation against her, and @stygianmoondust was the prince of all unova…

she steps onstage to make the announcement. her eyes and cheeks are still red from all the crying she’s done. 

❝l-ladies and gentlemen, sorry for the delay. i have, um, an announcement to make. two announcements, actually. and both of them are changing scores. i made a mistake when scoring the contestants yuugetsu and fabien, and so now i’m fixing it. yuugetsu will receive the 10 points that i docked from her in the ‘looks’ section for both of her rounds’ scores. i know i was, like, super scared so i took points off, but a wise voter named sky reminded me that this is a halloween contest where i’m supposed to be scared, so like, i’m giving it to her. this brings her totals from 95 and 113 in both rounds to, uh…104 and 123.❞ she gets her numbers wrong, however--the totals are actually going from 90 and 107 to 100 and 117. 

❝as for fabien, i was way too harsh on him, and i apologize. but i know it’s not a real apology if i don’t fix anything, so he will have his score modified to 18 for looks, 23 for complexity and--and 25 for originality. i also forgot to give him +5 for using psychic. this will give him a total of, uh…78 points. i’m sorry if that’s not right, i’m like, doing it in my head right now so you can do it on your phones or something if you doubt me.❞ again she gets the math wrong--the real total is 91.

❝oh, and by the way, if you haven’t cast your votes, you can keep thinking about it until the timer’s up. i sorta…uh…forgot to turn it on, so…yeah. let me go do that. you guys can have the extra time.❞

she runs offstage like a little bitch child to collect herself before she gives her grand finale. the contest is going to end late now, but she has to collect herself.

LILA’S CHANDELURE knows a thing or two of making suckers out of legitimate threats. she’s fooled officer jennies before at pokémon contests when her owner was questioned, and so far she has half the world believing her. this sky from the reborn region, hopefully, would be no different, not least because she can’t afford to fail. 

her method? nothing she hasn’t already done a thousand times. her orders? get his dirt. 

she shapeshifts into a party guest and goes up to him. as soon as he has a moment to spare, she pounces.

❝oh, hey, i’ve heard of you!❞ she said, offering a pretty smile. ❝you’re sky from the reborn league, right? i’m lizzie. lizzie davis. it’s so nice to meet you. i’m sorry if i’m, like, nervous right now, i feel like i’m standing in front of a celebrity!❞ 

she lets out a little squeak as she shakes his hand. for both her persona and her true self, this is the opportunity of a lifetime.

❝so you’re the one from reborn?❞ she tried to force a smile. she’d heard terrible things about the place, but the people there were damn scary, so she’d better keep him pleased! ❝that’s so cool. like, what inspired you to come here?❞

her parents had taken one look at the guest list almost not allowed him in. as she stands here she figures she really, really should have had the guts to turn him down--it would’ve saved her a whole bundle of wracked nerves. what if he turned violent and started killing everybody or whatever the gangsters in his home country were up to? as soon as the guy’s back was turned she would go and tell security to tail him wherever he went.

Atleast by my standards. Valor all about the strong and how to make us stronger. Unless ya got time to be battlin’ ‘till ya broke, trainin’ till your raw and makin’ breakthroughs on the daily ya might wanna consider the other teams. 

Mystic is pretty dedicated but ah, Blanche is chill.

Instinct ... eh, well actually, it’s a pretty casual game. Sparky knows how to handle gettin’ work done and be relaxed at the same time.
