It had come as a surprise when Bruce asked him to come in for a visit, and as hard as he tried to use the excuse that someone slashed his tires it didn’t seem to work. 

Needless to say who he found when he passed Alfred on the way into the cave was not who he expected.

   Mark getting caught in the middle of a shootout as something on his ‘never needed to experience’ list. Stray bullet caught the belt and well, let’s say he now knew exactly how explosive xenothium could be. That was pretty much the short story of how he ended up sneaking into Titans Tower medbay. It wasn’t like hospitals were gonna take seeing a guy in a skull mask very well. Figures Raven would be the one up at ungodly hours of the night to catch him.

  “Look, I’m aware I’m on your turf and all, but could you shoot me with the freaky dark matter stuff after I finish tieing this bandage off?”

Even though going to the Tower was almost a vacation on the weekends, you couldn’t really take a vacation from field wounds. Having tried his own techniques to help his body heal and taking probably too many painkillers, he found himself limping over to Raven’s room. Knocking softly, he wondered if she could feel the discomfort he was in.
